Jaipur is one of the finest planned cities of India. An interesting and unique way to explore the roots and the living traditions of the city is by exploring it through your lens along with the expertise of a professional photographer. Discover the hidden treasures and the sights of the city with us -- through the hustle and bustle, making sure you capture every moment; hidden views, the bustling markets, and the perfect setting sun.
This photography competition along with a workshop has been designed to offer an enriching experience, uncovering some of the best kept secrets of the city. It combines views of the beautiful city, architectural wonders and the bustling markets that make this city such a unique location. During the competition, in addition to the selection of vantage points for a picture, our in house professional photographers will provide you with explanations around photography as well as composition over an interactive session over tea while you will be able to put these tips immediately to practice with the shots proposed. Breathe in the sights and sounds of the city from the photographer's point of view while on the other hand discover the city of Jaipur like never before.
The day will be divided into three phases. In the first phase, you will be flagged off from the starting point in cycle rickshaws, the best way to set off into the walled city of Jaipur – one participant per cycle rickshaw. The terrain and even the toughest roads are no match for the open-top cycle rickshaws which will bring you closer than you ever expected to the city life! In the second phase participants will ride pillion on Motorcycles - one participant per motorcycle, an experience rare in-itself! While in the third phase you will be left free to explore the given area on foot. Ride around the city like never before at your own pace with a free access to the sights proposed for you. With your camera in hand, an experienced driver and a workshop with professional photographers, you have all the tools you need for a great adventure! As professionals, our photographers are passionate about sharing their knowledge and experiences and will help make the event more engaging.
